Bizarre Encounter: Woman Escapes As-sault, Inflicts Unique Retribution on Attacker

In Greenvile, South Carolina, a woman reportedly bit off the pen*s of a registered s*x offender during a suspected se*ual as*ault. She then fled for assistance while unclothed and covered in blood. Dennis Slaton, aged 61, faced charges of first-degree criminal se*ual conduct and kidn*pping a month later. Despite his denial, Slaton’s extensive criminal record, spanning 40 years, includes convictions for s0d0my, v0yeurism, and attempted r*pe.

According to a report from the Greenville County Sheriff’s Office, the victim claimed that on August 8 2019, she signaled for Slaton to stop his white pickup truck as she waited to meet someone she had connected with online at a Motel 6 parking lot.

The woman recounted getting into Slaton’s vehicle, but quickly sensed something amiss and requested to be dropped off on Woodside Avenue. She offered him $5 for his troubles, to which he agreed. However, upon setting the pickup truck in motion, she alleged that he brandished a knife, pressing it against her throat and demanding $300. Subsequently, he drove her to his residence on Kay Drive, where she claimed he se*ually as*aulted her and issued d*ath threats.

In an act of self-defense, the woman fiercely resisted, biting Slaton’s p*nis and causing injury. She also seized the knife used to threaten her and st*bbed him in the butt0cks. Following a pursuit around the house by Slaton, she fled outdoors, seeking aid from neighbors to no avail. Ultimately, she reached the Waffle House at Melvin Drive and South Pleasantburg Drive, where compassionate employees provided clothing and contacted emergency services.

Upon the sheriff’s deputies’ arrival at Slaton’s residence, they discovered him drenched in blood, with evidence of blood throughout the premises. Slaton underwent surgery at a hospital due to his injuries. Reflecting on the incident in an interview with WSPA, Slaton expressed sorrow over the ordeal, deeming it “pretty bad” and “tragic.”

Slaton secured release from custody after posting $75,000 bond. However, he faced subsequent arrests on October 10 2019 for DUI and driving with an open container of alcohol. Following another bond release, he remained at liberty.

Unfortunately, in September 2021, Slaton d*ed at Prisma Health Center in Greenville. Following his d*ath, all pending charges against him were dropped.
